    This is where I tell anyone who actually comes to read this site about myself, so here goes.

    My Name is John, I currently live in Lawton, OK with my wife Starlia.  I have done a lot of different things in my life; worked construction, washed tractor trailers at a truck wash, worked for a wireless Internet service provider, done PC repair as well, and I install internet for a local apartment building.  I manage a couple websites like www.ventshop.net as well as www.lawtonian.net and www.the-real-mccoys.com.  I also game online regularly playing World of Warcraft and have Burning Crusade, CounterStrike:Source, and Battlefield 1942. 

    I attended school in and around the Sioux City, IA area and graduated from Westwood Community school in Sloan, IA.  While in high school I was actively involved in the FFA and in my Junior Year I was on the Iowa State FFA Association Nominating Committee.  My Senior Year was very interesting to say the least, I had maxed out many of the schools computer classes so I was able to take extension classes at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City, IA.  There I specialized in many computer classes, and had top grades in the DOS class.  I was also the Westwood FFA Chapter President that year and helped to setup the first Chapter Banquet that had been held in 15 years.

    When I graduated in '97 and began working for Sioux City Engineering and worked on a paving crew.  In the Fall of '97 I moved to Kansas City, MO and began attending DeVry there in the Electronics Tech course.  I completed 2 trimesters and determined that I was more interested in PC repair than repairing circuit boards and discontinued my schooling.  From there I began progressing in my pc repair skills and continue to do so now.  I manage a home network consisting of 7 computers one of which I use as a router.  Mostly I run Windows OS, Mainly because my wife has very hard time trying to use linux, lol.  I do have 2 boxes that run linux and I use them for at home game servers and for surfing some websites.  I love getting a hold of older hardware as well.  My Router is a Compaq Proliant 2500 with Dual Pentium Pro 200Mhz Cpu's 1 GB ram and 24.3gb and one 9.1 GB UltraWide SCSI Hdd's.  Even though the machine is old it works wonders for a router and firewall box, it also serves DHCP addresses to my network.

As of yet that is basically my life and work among other things.
